Swedish automaker Volvo has invested SEK 935 million (about $140 million) in a truck assembly plant in the central Russian city of Kaluga in the 55-hectare Kaluga South industrial park. The plant production capacity about 15 thousand Volvo trucks per year.
Activity:
Building & structural audit of a plant structures’ load-bearing capacity. Verified the building structures and design model calculations in Lyra software by Structural Engineers team. Conducted a number of investigation meetings with a final report to the Client.
Facilities:
Main production building, workshop for welding and painting cabins with an area of 25,000 sq.m., a finished products workshop with an area of 45,000 sq.m., a warehouse and office space. The staff numbers approximately 800 employees, infrastructure engineering facilities and networks.
