BBC Broadcasting House | Regent Street (London, UK)

The renovation of London’s BBC Broadcasting House took nine years. The reconstruction of the Broadcasting House was divided into two stages. The first stage was implemented with the initial master plan of the site, external facades and internal planning elements in 2002 until 2005, however, significant changes have been made to the interior. The importance of this building to the BBC brand and operations cannot be overstated. The original Broadcasting House, a curved art deco pile at the top of Regent Street, has been the iconic headquarters of the corporation since the thirties. It has hosted broadcasts from luminaries stretching from Winston Churchill to Tony Blair and evokes a legendary, stardust quality that its sober Portland stone facade belies.
